A private service

MonNEQ is a private service. Not affiliated with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec or with the Government of Quebec.

MonNEQ is not a law firm, a notary practice or an accounting firm. The service consists of preparing and transmitting to the Registraire the declarations and updates you approve, and of monitoring the filing deadlines on your files.

No payment made to MonNEQ is a payment to the Government of Quebec, and no page on this site is a government online service.

No legal advice, no tax advice

Nothing MonNEQ publishes or sends you is legal, tax or accounting advice. That applies to the site, to the company pages, to the compliance reports, to our emails and to our paper mail.

We do not draft resolutions, shareholder agreements or deeds. We do not tell you which structure to adopt or how to treat a transaction for tax purposes. For advice, consult a lawyer, a notary or a chartered professional accountant.

The site describes obligations published by the Registraire and by Revenu Québec, applied to your corporation’s public record. It does not replace a professional’s analysis of your situation.

The mandate

MonNEQ acts for your corporation only after a written mandate is signed. That mandate appoints MonNEQ as mandatary under articles 2130 and following of the Civil Code of Québec, for the sole purpose of preparing and transmitting the declarations and updates it covers. It sets out the files covered, its duration and the fees.

• You supply the information to be filed and you approve it before it is transmitted.
• You remain responsible for its accuracy before the Registraire. A declaration transmitted by a mandatary binds the corporation, not the mandatary.
• You may revoke the mandate at any time in writing, as article 2175 of the Civil Code of Québec allows.
• MonNEQ may decline a mandate or end one, in particular if the information supplied is incomplete, appears inaccurate, or would mislead the register.

Where a mandate requires clicSÉQUR access or a power of attorney on the file, you authorize us to obtain it and to use it for that file only. We hand those credentials over on request, and we make them unusable when the mandate ends.

What we do, what we do not guarantee

A catch-up file is taken in hand within 48 business hours of our receiving complete information. Deadline monitoring alerts you before each filing date shown on the register for the files the mandate covers.

Ours is an obligation of means. The Registraire decides whether to accept a declaration, how to handle a revocation of striking-off, and how long its own processing takes. We guarantee neither the outcome nor the timing of a step before it.

Monitoring depends on the dates published on the register and on the information you give us. A deadline that does not appear on the register, or a change you do not tell us about, cannot be monitored.

Data sources, freshness and estimates

The company pages on monneq.ca are built from the open data of the Quebec enterprise register, published on Données Québec. Every page shows the extraction date in use: register data as of August 1, 2026.

An extract is a snapshot taken on one date. The register may have changed since. Where the two differ, the register governs, not our page.

The amounts shown (annual registration fees, penalties, estimated balance) are estimates based on published tariffs. They do not replace a statement of account from the Registraire and they may differ from the amount actually owed.

The A to F grade is an indicator produced by MonNEQ. It carries no official standing and is recognized by no authority.

If a page concerns you and contains an error, write to [email protected]. We check the source record, then correct or remove the page.

Use of the site

The site is free to consult. You may use the company pages for your own files and for your clients’ files.

• You may not scrape the site at scale, nor rebuild a copy of it or a competing database from it.
• You may not resell data extracted from the site.
• You may not use the site or its content to send unsolicited messages, to harass anyone, or to damage a company’s reputation.
• You may not circumvent the site’s technical limits or try to reach anyone else’s file.

We may block access that breaks these rules, without notice.

Prices, billing and taxes

Prices are in Canadian dollars, before GST and QST. The prices that apply to your file are the ones displayed when you sign the mandate. An increase applies only from the following period and is announced at least 30 days ahead.

Fees, penalties and duties collected by the Registraire are yours to pay and come on top of our fees. We never fold them into a displayed price.

The site takes no payment: billing starts after the mandate is signed. The monthly subscription is cancelled in writing and ends at the following period, with no penalty.

Ownership

Register data is public and belongs to no one but its source. The layout of the site, its text, the grading method, the mail templates and the code belong to MonNEQ.

MonNEQ, the monneq.ca domain name and the wordmark are used by us alone. You may not use them in a way that suggests an association or an endorsement.

Limitation of liability

The free part of the site is provided as is. We do not warrant that company pages are accurate to the minute, nor that the site is always available.

MonNEQ is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Nor is MonNEQ liable for penalties, fees or striking-off arising from events that predate its mandate, or for a failure caused by incomplete or inaccurate information you supplied.

For paid services, MonNEQ’s total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply in cases of intentional or gross fault, nor to rights the law does not permit you to waive.

Paper mail

MonNEQ mails compliance statements. The address used is the corporation’s domicile as entered on the public register, never an address obtained any other way.

To stop receiving mail: monneq.ca/retrait. Removal is processed within 10 business days and covers every file tied to that address.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading. For a client under mandate, a change affecting fees or the scope of the service is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies.

Governing law, courts and language

These terms are governed by the law applicable in Quebec. Any dispute relating to them falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.

These terms are written in French. The English version published on this site is a courtesy translation. Where the two differ, the French version prevails.

If one clause of these terms were held invalid, the others would continue to apply.
