Your corporation now has a representative.
It knows your file at the Quebec enterprise register, answers in seconds and prepares every filing. A person checks it and files it. You never open clicSÉQUR again.

When is my next annual declaration due?
Your 2026 window: 15 May to 15 November. I will prepare the filing in October, the same as last year. Nothing for you to do.
We are moving the office to 210 rue Fabre.
Noted. I am preparing the address update — you sign here, I file it today.

And if I do nothing?
Two missed declarations and the Registraire can dissolve the corporation. After that, your property and your claims are frozen. We are nowhere near that — I am handling it.
We know that counter.

The 2023 requirement most corporations never met. Settled.
The representative
A representative, not a chatbot.
It knows your NEQ, your deadlines and your past filings. You ask a question about your own file — not about the law in general.
Are my ultimate beneficiaries declared?
No. No ultimate-beneficiary declaration appears on your file since the requirement took effect on March 31, 2023. I am building the form from the directors already recorded on the register — you confirm the holdings, I file it.

The same watch catches a missing declaration before the Registraire turns it into a penalty.
What you are actually risking
One late declaration is a $53 penalty. Two, and the countdown to being struck off begins. After that, it stops being about fees:
Your assets
A dissolved corporation no longer owns its property. The building, the equipment, the cash: the file falls under the unclaimed-property regime.
Your receivables
A dissolved corporation cannot sue. The clients who owe you money no longer have anyone to answer to.
Your insurance
A policy issued to a corporation that no longer legally exists? Check what your insurer would say about it on the day of a claim.
Your personal protection
Limited liability exists because the corporation exists. Keep trading after a striking-off and it is you, personally, who signs.
Your corporate identity
A file nobody is watching can be altered by people acting in bad faith. Corporate identity fraud goes after neglected corporations.
From $39/month so you never have to think about it.
The math
What “I will handle it myself” really costs.
| Who handles it | Time | Cost | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yourself | 32 business days a year of paperwork (CFIB) | $0 in fees | 50% penalty · struck off the register · government account locked |
| A lawyer | your calls, their timelines | $500 – $1,200/year | low — but every question is billed |
| An accountant | they dislike this work as much as you do | $150 – $350/hour | the REQ is not their mandate — things get missed |
| MonNEQ | seconds per question | $99/month | continuous monitoring included |

MonNEQ Pro →Common questions
All questions →- What happens if I do not file my annual declaration?
- The $106 annual fee stays due and the Registraire adds a 50% penalty, $53 for every year missed. At two missing declarations it can strike the corporation off.
- My corporation was struck off. Can that be reversed?
- Yes. A striking-off is revoked by filing the missing declarations together with a revocation request. 696,897 corporations sit on the register as struck off.
- Does this apply to my federal corporation?
- If it is registered in Quebec, it files the Quebec declaration on top of its federal annual return. 303,907 federal-regime corporations are registered on the register.
