The register we copy is public. Your contact details are not. This page says in plain language where all of it lives, what we keep, and what we never ask for.

Where the register data lives
The corporation files shown on this site come from the open data published by the Registraire des entreprises du Québec. We download the dataset, rebuild it into a fresh database, then put that database online in place of the previous one.
A database being served is never modified in place. A failed rebuild therefore cannot corrupt the files that are online: it is discarded and the previous cycle keeps serving.

The site is hosted with a cloud provider established in the United States. The provider list and the framework required by section 17 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector are set out in the privacy policy.

What we keep about you
Checking a corporation asks for nothing. The full report asks for a name, an email, a phone number and your role, because that is the point at which we can call you back.

After those periods the information is destroyed or anonymised. No analytics cookie is set until you accept it in the banner, and refusing leaves the site fully working.

What we never ask for
- Your clicSÉQUR password.
- Your social insurance number.
- Your banking details or a card number on the site.
- Identity documents uploaded through a form on the site.
An email asking for any of those four things in the name of MonNEQ did not come from us. Write to [email protected] and we will check it.

How we reach your file
The representation mandate designates MonNEQ as your representative before the Registraire des entreprises. We file your declarations under that mandate, through our own professional access.
When a file requires a temporary authorisation code, it is held in an encrypted password manager, never in an email and never in the public database behind the site. It is removed when the mandate ends.
Access to client files is limited to the people carrying out the mandate and is protected by two-factor authentication.

What is public on this site
Every published file is about a corporation, not about a person. It shows the legal name, the NEQ, the city and region, the register status and the declaration dates.
- No director or officer names.
- No full civic address.
- No sole proprietorships or partnerships: only corporations are published.
If a file looks wrong to you, write to us: we check the calculation and the source data, we correct it, or we take the page down. To stop receiving our mail, the opt-out page is monneq.ca/retrait.
